Nelspruit Post’s couch-to-tar jogging plan

We have passed the halfway mark! If you have joined our five kilometers challenge, take a look at the training program for week 3.

Load shedding is back and treadmills have been coming to awkward halts all over town this morning.

Nelspruit Post and a few readers have gradually moved from our couches to the road and we have reached week three of our jogging challenge.

If you are new to our program, view the first two weeks’ training programs here.

Week three looks like this:

Monday: Walk briskly for 30 minutes

Tuesday: Jog for 20 minutes

Wednesday: Walk for 30 minutes

Thursday: Jog for 25 minutes

Friday: Walk for 30 minutes

Saturday: Take the day off

Sunday: Jog 5 kilometers
