Oh happy day!
Today we celebrate victory over our ultimate enemy – death! Jesus Christ has risen from death to life, and because of that we celebrate our eternal freedom. Freedom from poverty, pain, heartache, sickness and disease but above all, freedom from death, as we look forward to spending eternity in Heaven one day. Oh happy day indeed!
Matthew 28:5-6 (NKJV): “But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.’”
Matthew 28:8-9 (NKJV): “So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, ‘Rejoice!

Did you know that the disciples were also in Lockdown?
John 20:19 (NKJV): “Then, the same day at evening, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’”

Are you filled with peace during this once-in-a-lifetime Passover, when the entire world has come to a standstill?
This day is the very reason we can be filled with complete peace.
