Ingredients

1 tbs of instant or active dry yeast

Method

In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm or lukewarm water and stir.

Set it aside for five minutes.

Add the oil and stir.

Add the rest of the dry ingredients.

Mix well to combine the ingredients.

Once all the ingredients have been mixed, start kneading the dough.

Doing this helps it to rise better and be fluffier and lighter.

Kneading the dough with your hands should take about 10 minutes, but with a mixer it should only take seven minutes.

Place the dough in a well-oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap.

Make sure the side of the wrap that will cover the dough is also oiled.

Pre-heat the oven for two to three minutes and then place the bowl inside.

After an hour and 30 minutes, remove the dough from the oven, and after letting it cool off a bit, punch and reshape it.

Roll the dough and place it in a baking tin.

Set the oven to 150 to 180 degrees and bake for about 30 to 4 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

If you only have a stove top:

After punching the dough, shape it into a small ball-like size.

Place a cooking pan on the stove and pour a bit of water to cover the surface.

Add a little oil and let it steam.

Place the dough in the pan, but remember to space it as it will increase in size while cooking.

Cover with a lid and let it cook for two minutes, then turn it over and let it cook for another two minutes.
