Have you joined our jogging challenge yet?

It's time to tie those laces and prep for some races!

Nelspruit Post has celebrated the recent arrival of load shedding by exchanging our treadmills for running shoes.  We have challenged readers to join our 0-5 kilometer jogging challenge and hope that participants are having a lot of fun.  Week two has just kicked off.  For those who missed it, week one’s training plan looks like this:

Monday – Walk briskly for 20 minutes

Tuesday – Jog for 10 minutes

Wednesday – Walk for 20 minutes

Thursday – Jog for 15 minutes

Friday – Take the day off

Saturday – Jog 3 kilometres.

Week two consists of the following:

Monday – Walk briskly for 20 minutes

Tuesday – Jog for 15 minutes

Wednesday – Walk for 20 minutes

Thursday – Jog for 20 minutes

Friday – Take the day off

Saturday – Jog 4 kilometers.
