IN PHOTOS: Nelspruit Primary School Grade One learners ready to take on the world

The schools reopened on Wednesday, January 15.

As the schools reopened today, January 15, Nelspruit Primary School teachers opened their classrooms for the new Grade One learners.

Although seemingly nervous at first, the learners gradually became more at ease and excited to meet their new teachers and friends.

Before moving to their respective classrooms, the learners were accompanied by their parents to the field where they were given different colour tags, each colour representing the classroom they were assigned to.

Lowvelder interviewed a few learners who revealed their dream careers. Amahle Masinga wants to be a veterinarian simply because he loves puppies, and Matthew Magagula said he wants to be an artist although he’s not yet sure what kind of artist.

As the learners were seated in the classrooms, they began socialising and making new friends.
