About us:
Seventeen years ago, Cure Day Hospitals was founded by a group of visionary doctors who shared a dream: to provide more affordable and accessible private healthcare to South Africans. Cure Day Hospitals is a dynamic and energetic company that is expanding rapidly with 12 operational hospitals across South Africa. Specialising in high-quality, cost-effective same-day surgical procedures, Cure Day Hospitals is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a comfortable and convenient environment. Our modern facilities are staffed by experienced medical professionals committed to excellence and compassion, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Since our inception in 2008, Cure Day Hospitals has consistently delivered excellent results and demonstrated sustainable growth. Nine of our 12 hospitals are now part of the Council for Health Service Accreditation of South Africa (Cohsasa) programme. This high level of participation in Cohsasa’s quality improvement and accreditation process is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing safe, high-quality care to our patients.

At Cure Day Hospitals, our commitment to transformation is unwavering. We are proud to have achieved a BB-BEE Level 2 status. This reflects our ongoing efforts to foster inclusivity and empowerment in our organisation and the broader community. As part of our commitment to education and skills development, Cure Day Hospitals believes in investing and supporting youth development, we enrolled 50 unemployed young people in a 12-month learnership programme. Among these learners, 10 individuals with disabilities are participating, ensuring that our initiatives are inclusive and accessible. These learners, enrolled with the Skills Development Corporation (SDC) in Gauteng and the Western Cape, are gaining practical experience with both Cure Day Hospitals Holdings and our various hospitals.

Additionally, the group is deeply committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. Our dedication is evident through a range of corporate social investment (CSI) initiatives designed to uplift and support those in need. One of our significant projects has been a school shoe donation drive, through which we have donated over 1 300 pairs of recycled school shoes to learners in need. We are expanding these efforts to include donations of essential items such as non-perishable foods, clothing and toiletries to various non-profit organisations in our communities.

Beyond material donations, Cure Day Hospitals has made substantial contributions to increasing access to same-day surgery. We have assisted approximately 1 600 patients by providing necessary surgical procedures free of charge, underscoring our commitment to improving the quality of life for those who may not have the means to afford such care.

Cure Day Hospitals remain steadfast in our mission to create lasting, meaningful change in the lives of individuals and the communities we serve.
