Laerskool Nelspruit had a colourful and fun-filled day to collect funds for the school.

The sunny weather permitted Laerskool Nelspruit to have lots of colourful fun at the school’s annual Go-kart Day last Friday August 20.

The day began with a parade of the learners dressed in differently themed attire as has been the tradition for the past 29 years.

The purpose of the day was to collect funds for the school, while also getting kids to be active while doing something they enjoy.

The Grade Ones showcased a raceway theme, colour co-ordinated for each class, while the Grade Twos dressed up as Native Americans. The Grade Threes went all in as cowboys and girls. The Grade Fours’ attire gave retro disco vibes of the 80s, while the Grade Fives dressed as sea pirates.
