Winners of Furr Fiesta Dog Show Photo Competition announced in Mbombela

The photographs of winners will be used for the next competition that will be held in 2025.

The winners of the Furr Fiesta Dog Show Photo Competition were announced on Saturday August 10. The winners gathered at Midfeeds – Tack ‘n Togs Nelspruit to receive their prizes. Pricille Smith of the Furr Fiesta Dog Show, which took place on June 8, said the photos of the competition winners will be used for their next dog show to be held in White River on June 7, 2025.

Blue the pit bull, who belongs to Braam and Michelle Oosthuizen of iSecure Nelspruit, was awarded first place. Apollo, also a pit bull who belongs to Stacey White and Jaco Barnard, took second place. In the third place was Hazel Lee, a Yorkshire terrier who belongs to Marjorie and Beon Stander.

According to Smith, Blue received 2 004 votes, Apollo got 503 votes and Hazel Lee received 436 votes. She expressed her appreciation to everyone who participated in the competition.

“We received 68 entries in total. Thank you all for entering and we look forward to your entries for the next competition, which will have various categories.”

Michelle said they were over the moon that Blue nabbed first place. He is the office mascot of iSecure Nelspruit. “We are thrilled to witness the pit bull narrative evolving because, let’s be real, not all pit bull owners are pawsome. Big congratulations to all the other furry pals who joined in the fun.”
