The Riverside City Improvement District (CID) has unveiled the successful implementation of enhanced road safety measures aimed at ensuring a safe and secure environment for all visitors and members.
These efforts are part of the CID’s ongoing commitment to create a vibrant, secure and pleasant area for everyone.
In line with our dedication to safety, the Riverside CID has installed highly visible signage throughout the district. These signs are designed to educate and remind motorists and pedestrians of important road safety rules, contributing to a safer and more orderly environment.
In the hope of minimising the risk of accidents, the new signage includes the correct way to navigate traffic circles, as well as prominent warning signs to ensure that vehicles travel at safe speeds, protecting both drivers and pedestrians. Marked pedestrian crossings will also be added to allow safe crossings for pedestrians, encouraging drivers to be vigilant and respectful of foot traffic.
