Patel Nelspruit’s grand opening on Saturday, August 10, introduced the ultimate in hardware shopping convenience to Mbombela – a drive-through service.
Eliminating the hassle of queuing in-store or even getting out of your car, customers can now pre-place their orders and at the agreed time, drive to the store and have their order loaded into their vehicle at the drive-through facility.

The grand opening was well attended and the Patel Group said they were happy with the turnout. Line manager Guillaume Willis highlighted the importance of community.
“The business is there because of the community. Without the community, there is no business, hence we always put the community first. We are from the community and we are for the community,” he said.
He said there was a big team behind this family business and opening the Mbombela store meant a lot to the team.
What made the Patel Group of stores different, Willis said, was the group’s sensitivity to the needs of the community. “We take criticism and work on it.”
