South African Council for Business Women Nelspruit hosts Christmas in July Bingo in aid of elderly

These local businesswomen support the community through various initiatives, and this month, they spent a day with the elderly.

The South African Council for Business Women (SACBW) Nelspruit hosted a successful Christmas in July Bingo event in aid of Pumalanga Aftreeoord on Thursday July 11. The aim was to support the elderly in this retirement home.

Tracy-Erin Duggan of SACBW Nelspruit said they had a great afternoon and everything went well. She said making a positive impact in the community is very important to the members of the SACBW.

“Following our successful Youth Day workshop last month, we were blessed to spend the day playing bingo with the residents of Pumalanga,” she said. “Those who attended said they enjoyed the afternoon. We are grateful to our members and the generous sponsors who helped to make it possible.”
