The Riverside City Improvement District (CID), in partnership with Bel Ombré Restaurant, hosted a vibrant and engaging gifting emporium with demos that showcased local artisans’ talent and craftsmanship, while also emphasising the importance of community collaboration.

The Riverside CID Gifting Emporium and Demos was held at Bel Ombré Restaurant at Emnotweni on Saturday July 13.

The Riverside CID’s marketing manager, Jessica Prim, said the event offered a unique opportunity for attendees to delve into the world of local crafters, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and dedication involved in crafting handmade products. “It was a celebration of our vibrant community and a testament to the creativity and skill of our local artisans. This event not only highlighted their talents, but also fostered meaningful connections among the CID, local businesses and the public. Throughout the event, the attendees explored a diverse range of handmade products that offered something for everyone.
