We Care 4 Nelspruit keeps the city clean for Innibos visitors

The members of this organisation cleaned up around some parts of Mbombela to ensure that all the festival-goers visited a presentable area.

We Care 4 Nelspruit ensured that visitors to this year’s Innibos National Arts Festival were welcomed to a clean city.

The organisation embarked on cleaning the festival grounds’ surroundings to ensure that festival-goers from outside the province would want to visit again.

“We started to clean up the terrain next to the venue where the festival was hosted to ensure that visitors were welcomed to a clean area. We cannot rely on the municipality to do all the work as it is not guaranteed that they will clean up all the key points. We were also cleaning during the festival. The good thing is that the guests were not littering or making a mess in our streets,” he said.

Maré added that the local recyclers also came on board to assist in collecting recyclable waste, which was very helpful.

He thanked all the residents who assisted We Care 4 Nelspruit to ensure they got the job done.
