Numbi Primary learners go on crocodile farm excursion

The children visited the Seronera Crocodile Farm in Hazyview to learn more about these animals.

Numbi Primary School’s Grade Two learners thoroughly enjoyed their recent visit to the Seronera Crocodile Farm in Hazyview as part of a school excursion.

They learnt a lot about these animals, such as their behaviour and the foods they eat. The crocodile farm held a drawing competition, for which each learner had to draw a crocodile. Three winners were selected from each of the Grade Two classes.

Mia Yssel, Hlulani Baolyi and Luthando Mthethwa were selected as the first-prize winners and received T-shirts for their artistic skills. A Spur voucher, the second prize, went to Adriaan Venter, Zara Mwe and Minenhle Mdhluli, while Mason Khosa, Martin Mathebula and Karabu Mokoena received Wimpy vouchers as third prizes.
