The case against Bheki Ndlovu (38), Nkateko Tshidzumba (24) and Siyabonga Kekana (20), the three men accused of murdering Mbombela anaesthetist Dr Nicholas Procter on January 31, was postponed to July 15 for further investigation.
Ndlovu and Tshidzumba appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court digitally today, June 7, while Kekana was present in person when the matter was heard.
The State Prosecutor asked for a postponement, as the State said it was awaiting evidence in the case, including statements, video footage and the post-mortem report.

The matter was postponed to July 15. The three men will not appear in person, but are expected to appear via a live camera link from the prison in which they are being held. They are facing charges of attempted theft, theft, robbery with aggravated circumstances, kidnapping and murder.
Procter was found dead, with his hands and feet tied, in a flat that was run as a vacation rental unit in the Mopani block of Green Valley Estate on Thursday afternoon, February 1. He was first reported missing when he had not shown up for work at Mediclinic Nelspruit that morning.
