Another vehicle accident in wet conditions in Schoemanskloof
A motorist collided into a tree on the N4 near Viva Garage and Joubert & Sons, resulting in injuries to them and their passenger.
At about 06:30 this morning, April 8, a motor vehicle accident occurred in the Schoemanskloof between Viva Garage and Joubert & Sons.
According to Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med, the driver had lost control of their vehicle and it collided into a tree.
A passenger was entrapped in the vehicle, and the fire department had to use the Jaws of Life to extract them.
Jeffrey said the driver was transported to hospital by Emer-G-Med and the passenger by ER24.
He mentioned that the road is open. He advised motorists to exercise caution due to the wet road conditions everywhere.
