UPDATE: Body of unknown man retrieved near business centre in Mbombela
A body was spotted by some passers-by who alerted a nearby security official of Hi-Tech Security.
The body of a man was found underneath the sidewalk bridge between City Centre and the SAPS Nelspruit Garage in Andrew Street in Mbombela today, February 25.
Michiel van de Venter of Hi-Tech Security, who was the first to respond to the scene, said he was pointed to the spot by some passers-by.
“They alerted me about the incident when they saw the Hi-Tech Security bakkie at about 15:00. Allegedly, the man had been sitting on the kerb of the bridge since at about 11:00.”

The man was certified dead by paramedics of the Mpumalanga Emergency Medical Services.
It is as yet unclear how the man died.
