N4 between Matsulu and KaNyamazane opened following crash
A crash involving multiple vehicles on the N4 between KaNyamazane and Matsulu has been cleared and the road is now open.
A multi-vehicle crash on the N4 between KaNyamazane and Matsulu today, that caused the road to be temporarily closed, has been cleared.
Emer-G-Med’s Martin Jeffrey said the crash involved a private ambulance from the Nkomazi area, which had been transporting a moderately injured patient to Mediclinic Nelspruit, a truck and two other vehicles.

He said 10 people sustained minor to moderate injuries. The patient in the ambulance was declared dead on the scene, however, Jeffrey said it is unclear whether the patient’s death was caused by the accident at this stage.
The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison’s spokesperson, Moeti Mmusi, appealed to motorists to obey the rules of the road, especially with the increase of traffic on the roads due to the ANC’s 112th anniversary celebrations this weekend.
