No arrest made in Barberton house robbery case

Three suspects robbed a house in town on New Year’s morning and made off with a pile of valuables. The case is currently under investigation.

No arrests have yet been made in the case of the house robbery that occurred in Barberton on New Year’s morning.

According to a provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdhluli, the police are still investigating the matter.

Three suspects allegedly entered a house in Bland Street on January 1 and demanded that everyone lie down on the floor.

All the suspects are said to have worn gloves and balaclavas. They allegedly stole some cellphones, a TV, an Xbox, some meat, alcohol, watches and a vehicle.

Cartrack used the tracker in the vehicle to trace it, and it was found on January 2.
