The Mbombela Family Market featured great entertainment, food and arts and crafts.

The first-ever two-day Mbombela Family Market offered entertainment, food and arts and crafts for everyone in the family at the Mbombela Stadium’s netball court on November 11 and 12.

One of the organisers, Lyzelle van Wyk, said the market had 50 stalls manned by local and informal entrepreneurs, and some who travelled from the outskirts of Mbombela.

“It was the first time we hosted such an exciting family market. We believe it will grow bigger and attract more visitors. We had a lot entertainment, such as the mechanical bull ride, which was popular with young and old, and the children enjoyed the bouncy castle and face painting,” she said.
