It was a day filled with Christmas merriment, good food, and the coming together of family and friends for a wonderful time at Uplands for its recent Christmas Market.

There was much Christmas cheer and a festive feeling at the Uplands Christmas Market on November 5.

Held on the school grounds, the market showcased a massive number of local vendors and entrepreneurs selling a variety of delicious food and drink, as well as beautifully handmade art, jewellery, candles, soap and so much more.

Some of the items on sale had some Christmas flair, in line with the theme of the market. Locals from across Mbombela flooded to attend the market, which delivered fun for the whole family. With perfect sunny weather as the backdrop, it was a great day out for young and old. There was even a entertainment area for the children, complete with bouncy castles.

Uplands Christmas Market posted on its Facebook page it had received great feedback from shoppers and stallholders alike.

“People loved the layout with the stalls within the college gardens and there was an incredible vibe. Our seasoned stallholders said this was their best one yet. Thank you for supporting us, and we wish you a very Merry Christmas,” said the post.
