Nelspruit Regional Court postponed the JJ Peters case again

The case against JJ Peters was postponed to November 16, because the prosecutor handling it was not available on November 7.

The JJ Peters case was once again postponed due to the prosecutor handling the case not being available.

Peters appeared in the Nelspruit Regional Court on November 7 where he was expected to plead. The matter was then postponed to November 16 at the same court.

He was arrested for allegedly killing his grandmother, Sannie Strydom Kilmister (68), on February 28, 2022.

He has been in police custody for almost 17 months. At the time of her death, Peters had been sharing her house on a smallholding in the Cromdale area.
She was found dead in her bedroom with various bruise marks on her neck and blood splatters on her pillow.
