Klopper’s entertaining opening talk on unleashing the power of agreement demonstrated how God and the enemy use agreement to touch and redirect lives. One way to agree with evil forces is to give in to destructive thought patterns and believe lies about your life.

“Understanding that agreement invokes the power of the Spirit can be the first step to your healing. Agree with God’s Word, His promises and prophecies, and you will unleash a power beyond yourself,” he said.

Simpson spoke about a Christian’s identity. “What you believe is what you live. Your past or present trauma or circumstances do not determine your identity. Never underestimate the prayers of a mother or God’s ability to use your mess to transform your life,” she said.

“Everything changes when God speaks. Your greatest fears might become your blessings. The enemy will always remind you of what you lack – God will show you what He has in store for you.”

Van der Vyver highlighted trauma’s effects on the human brain, particularly emotions and events that have not been dealt with. People may get stuck in their pain and trauma, not knowing that choosing to leave the darkness is the first step to healing.
