Family fun at Klipkopjes Water Fest 2023

The Water Fest 2023, held at Klipkopjes Dam, delivered a day of fun in the sun for Lowvelder families and friends.

It was a full day of fun in the sun, lounging at the water’s edge, delicious food and live entertainment at the Water Fest 2023 at Klipkopjes Dam on Saturday October 7.

It was a great day for family and friends alike, with lots of activities for both young and old to enjoy. Water slides, designated swimming areas at the dam’s edge, food, drinks and crafted products made by local entrepreneurs featured throughout the day.

A steady flow of live entertainment by Debbie Kriel, Just Sam, Moonshine Country Blues Band and Ivan Roux could be heard.

A potjiekos competition between local businesses and organisations was also held. The Ehlanzeni Police Diving Unit gave exciting demonstrations, and a Formula-1 power boat and speed boats were on display.
