It was an event with a great programme that catered for the entire family. Blue Gate set up its popular wine bar in the garden. There was food, sweet treats and drinks to enjoy, while the kids had a great time exploring the garden and play area. They invited international nurseries from as far afield as Thailand, Ecuador, Jamaica, and Florida in the United States, and some local nurseries brought amazing flowers to the garden.

Jolisa Grobler of Afri Orchids said the attendance was good. “This was definitely one of the busiest events we have hosted. It was also different, because we had four international vendors, not just three like we did last year. We also expanded the plant sections. There were ferns, clivias on display, and an art section. It was a big event.”
