Four people have been taken to hospitals after they suffered minor injuries in an accident involving a bus, a truck and a diesel tanker on the N4 between KaNyamazane and Matsulu just after 16:00 on Wednesday August 16.
Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med said they treated several patients when they arrived at the scene, and assisted in transporting the four to hospitals in Mbombela.
“One was taken to Mediclinic while three were taken to Rob Ferreira Hospital,” he said.

The spokesperson for TRAC, Solange Soares, said the road is closed for the recovery of the crash scene.
“There is hazardous material on the road as the tanker is leaking. The road closure has been implemented to clear up the scene. TRACAssist and law enforcement are on the scene.”

She said traffic is being redirected to the R38 and the Mara road.
