The older and more seasoned golfers like to do things their way, and sometimes forego learning certain aspects of the game that do not interest them.
That’s why junior golf programmes are so important!
They help foster and develop all aspects of the game, even those the dads or granddads do not deem important. They teach younger players values of honesty, integrity and respect, both on and off the course.

To help nurture young talents in the province, Mpumalanga Junior Golf, with support of the Lowveld Nomads, has decided to host a Furtherance of Golf Fundraiser Golf Day at Mbombela Golf Club on August 17.
The day will take on a better-ball with a scrambled drive format, and only 104 golfers will be able to tee off.
The event is designed to be a fundraiser opportunity, thus sponsors interesting in being part are courteously invited to get in contact with the Mpumalanga Junior Golf Foundation.

“We are excited at the prospect of your involvement in our golf day,” Jurie Grobler, the vice president of the foundation, said in a media release.
Like they say in Afrikaans: “Buig die boompie terwyl hy nog jonk is.”
“Let’s grow the game together.”
