Fatal stabbing during argument at Coromandel near Lydenburg
A quarrel between and man and his girlfriend (22) led to his death.
A fatal stabbing occurred at 23:00 on June 31, next to the Coromandel turn-off on the Dullstroom Road (R540).
A man was stabbed by his alleged girlfriend (22) in the chest with a sharp object. Coromandel community members summoned the police and the victim was found.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Cave Dilebo, said community members heard an argument between the two.

The victim was declared dead at the scene by Emergency Medical Services paramedics. The motive for the incident has not been established.
The suspect appeared in the Lydenburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday and her next court appearance was scheduled for July 12. Dilebo added that the police investigations were ongoing.
