One of the highlights was the local food and craft market, which showcased the very best of the Lowveld’s culinary and creative talents.
Visitors were able to purchase from a range of delicious local dishes, including traditional Easter treats, as well as browse unique and handmade crafts from local artisans.

The market was just one part of the family fun day, which also included a range of other activities and attractions. Children had the opportunity to take a photo with the Easter Bunny and bounced their way around the bouncy castles, as well as partaking in other fun activities, while the adults relaxed and enjoyed live music from a talented local musician.

“We are delighted with the turnout and the response to our Easter-themed family fun day. We wanted to create an event that brought the community together and showcased the best of our local area, and I think we achieved that,” said Gateway Lowveld’s marketing manager, Jessica Prim. “We were particularly pleased to see so many families enjoying the activities and attractions we had on offer.”
