Dams in the Inkomati Catchment Area remain over full capacity

The dam levels in the Inkomati Catchment Area remain stable with all but one dam over 100% capacity.

The Mpumalanga’s Department of Water and Sanitation released the dam levels for the Inkomati Catchment Area on Tuesday May 2. All dams are just over full capacity, except one which remains just under.

Nooitgedacht Dam is at 97.69%, showing a slight decrease from last week’s level of 98.55%.

The levels of both Vygeboom and Driekoppies are currently the highest, sitting at 100.75% and 100.78% respectively. They both showed a slight increase from last week’s statistics which recorded their levels at 100.3% and 100.39%.

Witklip, Inyaka and Da Gama dams recorded the same levels as last week. Witklip’s level is 100.4% with Inyaka at 100.2% and Da Gama at 100.29%.

Kwena Dam had a slight increase from last week, going from 100.32% to 100.4%.
