All the new Grade Ones at the newly established Mbombela Leadership Academy were ready to take on their first day of big school with a whole lot of excitement and anticipation for learning and making new friends.
Precious Mkhabela said she was happy she was finally in Grade One, stretching her arms out wide to show just how excited she was for her first day.
Meanwhile, Nthabiseng Nkosi said she was excited to learn about science and to do lots of painting this year.
