Support these upcoming Nelspruit Hospice initiatives

Nelspruit Hospice has two events on November 26 and asked for your support.

The Greek Kouzina restaurant in Sonpark offered to assist Nelspruit Hospice by arranging a beach party for Saturday November 26 at 18:00.

This promises to be an event to remember. Considering the fact that it is for a good cause, why would you not want to join in on some Greek beach fun?

Tickets are R350 and include a set menu, breaking of Greek plates (which is always a hit), a gin tasting, Zorba dancing and live entertainment by local artist Anne-Mari.

“A portion of the funds will be donated to Nelspruit Hospice, which will be used to fund care programmes for our very sick patients,” said Landi Bezuidenhout, the CEO of this hospice branch.

On the morning of this event, hospice will also have its pop-up market from 08:00 to 13:00 in the Nelspruit Hospice garden at 84 Ferreira Street.

Pre-loved items such as clothes, books and household items will be for sale.

“A Christmas table will have items on display that will make your festive season a happy and joyful time,” said Bezuidenhout. There will also be pancakes for sale and free tea and coffee.

If you are not able to get to the market on Saturday, do not fret. The Hospice Shoppe is open during the week as well; Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 15:00.

“Our lovely Nellie Mona is the saleslady and she will help you to find the best deal for you.”

If you want to assist at Nelspruit Hospice, contact Bezuidenhout on 079 542 8163 or at ceo1@nelspruithospice for more information.

“We always need volunteers to assist with the various projects we do to support people in need.”
