Man shot and robbed at Burgersfort’s Twin City Complex

An eyewitness said the victim had been heading to the bank when he was attacked by armed suspects.

A man was robbed at Burgersfort's Twin City this afternoon.

BURGERSFORT – The local police are investigating a case of armed robbery and attempted murder. This comes after a middle-aged man was robbed at Twin City Complex at about 13:00.

An eyewitness said the victim had been heading to the bank when he was attacked by armed suspects.

“They shot his hand and fled with his cash.” The suspects drove off in a white Volkswagen Polo via the R555 to Steelpoort. The victim was rushed to the nearby Dilokong Hospital. A police investigation is under way.
