An accident involving a truck transporting explosives resulted in the N4 near Machadodorp being closed since yesterday afternoon.
The scene needed to be cleared, which resulted in the prolonged closure.

Road users were advised to use alternative routes during the closure. Even though the road has been opened, there are currently some traffic delays.
