Residents of Bateleur Estate held their annual hobby fair on Saturday.
People had a chance to display a range of goods ranging from art and ceramics to handmade products.
Original art, including paintings, sketches and photography, were on sale in the first section. In the second section, an array of ceramics and pottery was on exhibition and in the third, residents sold handmade products including baked goods and arts and crafts.

Leslé Guthrie, one of the fair’s organisers, told Lowvelder that the event was held once a year. “It is a way for us to show off what people do. Everything on sale is made by the residents themselves. It is also a way for them to get some recognition for what they make,” said Guthrie.
About 40 people participated in the market.
