Leslé Guthrie, one of the fair’s organisers, told Lowvelder that the event was held once a year. “It is a way for us to show off what people do. Everything on sale is made by the residents themselves. It is also a way for them to get some recognition for what they make,” said Guthrie.

About 40 people participated in the market.
