The 30th Halls Race through their beautiful orchards and those of Westaffin Estates took place on Saturday.
Due to Covid lockdown restrictions, race entries were limited and the event had to be postponed by two months, from July 3.

These obstacles were overcome and the race was a huge success.

In order to meet the lockdown restrictions for the number of attendees at outdoor events, the 21.1km and 10km distances were run as two separate races.

The 30th edition of the Halls Race introduced new routes which meandered through the beautiful farmland of Halls and Westaffin, offering some lovely views over the Crocodile River and citrus orchards.

Runners were delighted by the scenic and mainly flat racecourse.

The race was organised by Nedbank LVCC Running Club which wishes to thank HL Hall & Sons Group and Westaffin Farming Company for making their farmland available for the 30th edition of this race. They also wish to thank the following contributors: LowMed Health and Sport Performance Centre, Industra, Unity Technologies and all the club members involved in the race organisation.
