Nelspruit Farmers Market at Oewersig an event for the whole family to enjoy

Van Wyk said the next market will be held on October 2.

The Nelspruit Farmers Market at Oewersig was a day filled with fun activities. The area was awash with various stalls. While shopping, locals enjoyed music while the kids played on the jumping castle.

The stalls had a great variety of goodies to buy, including home-made jam, cleaning products, confectionery, clothes, toys and delicious meals.

Lyzelle van Wyk, the organiser, said the turnout was great. “We got feedback from the public and they said they had so much fun. They loved the location and how it made them feel.” This market had a programme that catered for the entire family. It started in the morning and ended late in the day.

“Some people came for breakfast. Others were here to enjoy horse riding. Some came later for the langarm dancing. The environment made it possible for the public to bring their dogs, and this is one of the highlights that pet owners loved.”
