Women celebrated in true style at Friend’s

Friend's Café was booked to capacity on Sunday with its Women's Day celebrations.

Natalie Natasja Hampton, the marketing manager at Friend’s, said the day was “for Women’s Day and to represent us women”.

A few out-of-towners also enjoyed the festivities, proof that the event appealed to more than just locals. The entertainment was as local as it could be, however, with Voodoo Kudu delighting the crowd with its array of songs.

Hampton said the plan is to have events like these on the bigger holidays.
