Khumalo said his brother’s girlfriend and friend saw him before he disappeared. “On June 27, his girlfriend called, asking me to quickly come to her place since my brother was behaving strangely.

“On June 28, his friend contacted me and said he was with my brother. However, I never spoke to him (my brother) over the phone. We had agreed that I would see him the next day. The friend called me early the morning to say my brother had left his home,” Khumalo said.
