#Festive2020 The Christmas party season is officially among us again. It is that time of the year in which some of us make embarrassing mistakes.
You do not want to be the topic of the day in the office corridors the day after the party. So we have put together somethings not to do at an office/work party:
• Do not forget to mingle
Do not make the mistake of spending the whole time surrounded by just a few of your closest friends. Mingle and make new friends.
• Do not show up late
It is important for you to be there at the very beginning and greet people.
• Do not forget to have fun
It is important to have fun because the event comes once a year and you get to reward yourself.
• Do not talk business
It is not time to talk business just focus on having fun.
• Do not ask for a pay increase
It is not the time or the place. You have to visit the manager’s office for that.
• Do not overload your plate
It does not look good if your hands and/or mouth are too full throughout the party to greet people and shake hands.
• Do not leave too early
Staying for the long haul shows people you care.
