The Badplaas Police Station was robbed at about 00:39 this morning. According to reports, three armed men entered the station in the early hours this morning. They drew their firearms and disarmed the officers on duty, demanding that they surrender their firearms. The trio demanded that the police officers open the safe. They allegedly fled the scene with one R5 rifle and an undisclosed sum of money. Police are appealing to anyone with any information that may lead to their apprehension to call the Crime Stop number on 10111 or to send tip-offs on the MySAPs application.
