Suspected Sassa hackers’ case postponed at the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court

The case was postponed to September 9 for judgement and the three accused have been remanded in custody.

The three accused hackers, Matholeni Sydwell Masilela (40), Brian Mfundo Masina (28) and Moses Khumalo, appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

According to reports, the three allegedly orchestrated plans to hack into Sassa’s system in order to embezzle funds from the social grant agency. 

The case was postponed to September 9 for judgement and the three accused have been remanded in custody until then.
