One injured as part of roof collapses in Incredible Connection, Riverside Mall
The store will remain closed until further notice.
MBOMBELA – A woman sustained slight injuries when part of Incredible Connection’s roof in Riverside Mall, collapsed earlier today.
According to Martin Jeffrey of EmerGmed, she sustained minor soft tissue injuries. “She apparently saw the roof collapsing, and in a attempt to avoid injury, she slipped and fell,” he said, and added that Emer-G-Med transported her to Mediclinic Nelspruit to be treated.

Riverside Mall marketing manager, Nomfundo Nhlapo, confirmed that part of the ceiling inside the shop was damaged, and attributed it to rainfall. She added that this was an isolated situation. She also confirmed that the patient is an employee of the store. “The store will remain closed until further notice, but the rest of the mall is operating as normal,” she said.
