Protesters gathered today outside the Nkomazi Local Municipality over financial issues.
Rubbish bins were emptied all around and rocks were packed in the road blocking motorists from using the road.
Everything has since been cleared by local security companies, and the community.
The SAPS, MBM, Hi-Tech and Securicon were present on the scene.
