Video footage depicting a physical altercation between community members and former ward councillor, Mandla Mamba, recently surfaced.
According to residents, they want him to move out of the area following public incidents and conflict involving Mamba.

Three community members who were allegedly part of the group that assaulted Mamba are set to appear in the Barberton Magistrate’s Court today.
The trio was arrested earlier today.
Their arrest, however, resulted in community members marching to the Barberton Police Station to demand their release. The trio is yet to appear in court. Community members are currently outside the police station where they are singing anti-Mamba songs.
