MBOMBELA – The competition was held from April 4 to 8 at the ACPP Portuguese Hall in Pretoria. Out of the nine Ramps-to-Runway Lowveld models, two were finalists and seven came home with official titles.
“I want to inspire the best in them, instill confidence, and help them reach their goals,” she said.
- Kerri Ley (19) was named Miss Junior SA Public Choice winner, Miss Junior Face of SA first runner-up and Miss Junior SA Mpumalanga winner.
- Shaun Hillics (17) was named Best Dressed 80s for Junior SA theme, Best Interview for Mr Junior SA, Best Interview Outfit, Mr Face of South Africa second runner-up and Mr Junior SA second runner-up.
- Luyanda Mjaji (16) was named Best Dressed 80s for Junior SA theme, Best Interview, Miss Teen Junior SA Mpumalanga winner and top-five Miss Teen Junior SA.
- Miguel Schofield (13) was the Best Judges and Chaperone Gift, Mr Mini Teen SA Public Choice winner, Mr Mini Teen Face of SA, Mr Mini Teen Junior SA winner and Best of the Best Junior male model.
- Melissa Ley (13) was Miss Petite Teen SA Public Choice winner, Miss Petite Teen Face of SA first runner-up and Miss Petite Teen Junior SA Mpumalanga winner.
- Anastasia Elliot (13) was Miss Petite Teen Junior SA 2017 national finalist.
- Veronnica De Vasconcelos (10) was Miss Mini Teen Junior SA Mpumalanga winner. Keira Jacobs (10) was named top-five Miss Mini Teen Junior SA finalist.
- Mayibongwe Mohalaba (6) was best interview for Miss Tiny Junior SA, Miss Tiny Junior SA Mpumalanga winner, Miss Tiny Junior SA first princess and best of the best interview junior female model.
