A fire broke out in a house in Drum Rock Country Estate on the R40 this morning, December 14.
According to Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med, only the second storey of the house was damaged.

He said that the fire broke out while the residents were having a braai. “Something went wrong with the chimney while they were having a braai, which caused the fire outbreak. There are no injuries as everyone managed to get out of the house safely.”
The fire department is still on the scene.
