Protesters demand justice at Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court

This follows the attack on Advocate Nico du Plessis on January 14 this year.

MBOMBELA – More than 100 protesters convened in front of the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court this morning. They’ve been protesting in opposition of two alleged murderers’ bail application since 08:30.

The bail applicants are Messrs. Themba Myambo and Jabulani Ndlovu.  They and three other accused, who will not appear in court today, have been charged with the kidnapping and murder of three-year-old Lutricia Nkentjane from  Mawewe.

The girl had disappered during November last year and the police arrested the five suspects on November 29.

When they appeared in the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court in Tonga on January 14, community members assaulted the legal representative of Myambo and Ndlovu, Advocate Nico du Plessis.
