Diesel Afrik, the future of quality trucks in Mbombela

The flagship of the range of trucks is the SITRAK 480hp. This truck comes with either traditional steel spring suspension or airbag suspension, meeting the requirements of long-haul freight transporters and the side-tipper ore and coal transporters.
Founded in 2022, Diesel Afrik has already shown that although it may be the new kids on the block, its founding team, Chris Pinto, Wes Mommsen and Dave du Plessis, have the exact expertise to give each of their clients a truck that matches their business’s needs.
Selling SINOTRUK manufactured vehicles, branded SITRAK and HOWO, comes with obligations toward their customers. A local service centre has been approved and contracted for repairs and maintenance, and the selling of spare parts for the vehicles. This ensures Diesel Afrik’s clients experience smooth sailing when it comes to upkeep and care.
In a testament to the quality of the product, SITRAK, DP World bought 28 of these trucks from one of the other provincial dealers in November.
It also recently sold the Lowveld’s very first airbag suspension SITRAK. The proud owners are the Barberton-based ChemiCorp.
SINOTRUK set up in the country seven years ago in Boksburg. They did extensive testing of the SITRAK trucks to ensure the quality of the product before launching. Buyers of the SITRAK trucks will be given the assurance that the truck they have bought has been tweaked to meet the demands of the tough South African conditions.
MAN of Germany is a major shareholder in SINOTRUK. Its involvement is evidenced in the European quality of the trucks, as well as being fuel efficient and very competitively priced.
