Riverside CID Social Investment Foundation’s inaugural golf day scores big

The Riverside CID Social Investment Foundation, a registered non-profit company with a BBBEE Level 1 status, hit a hole-in-one with its inaugural golf day held on November 23.

The Riverside CID Social Investment Foundation’s golf day on November 23, aimed at mobilising community generosity and support, proved to be a resounding success, gathering funds for the implementation of impactful projects supported by the foundation.

Gary Phillips, the programme manager at the foundation, expressed his excitement about the event’s success, stating, “We are thrilled with the overwhelming support and generosity displayed at our inaugural golf day. The funds raised will play a pivotal role in furthering our mission of catalysing sustainable and impactful community welfare and development initiatives.”

The golf day brought together avid golfers and local businesses in a unified effort to make a tangible difference in the community. Through their participation and contributions, the attendees not only enjoyed a day of camaraderie and sport, but also extended their support towards meaningful causes that will directly benefit the Lowveld area.

“The funds accrued from the golf day will be instrumental in fuelling the projects the foundation ardently supports, aiming to uplift and transform our community for the better. We are committed to ensuring these resources are strategically utilised for sustainable development, creating a lasting impact for generations to come,” Phillips continued.

Looking ahead, the Riverside CID Social Investment Foundation remains focused on its mission to foster sustainable development and bring about lasting change in the region.

The substantial funds raised from the golf day will be channeled into key initiatives, including educational programmes, skills development, environmental conservation and social welfare projects.
